The case is 46mm wide in titanium - but the watch hosts a bunch of metals. You see, Gerald Genta wanted the audio qualities of the watch to be perfect. So it studied metals, made a new one (Magsonic), and even created special software to test all of this out. The idea was to fully enhance the sound of the sonnerie functions, without altering what they sound like. The final result has the watch in (the said titanium), steel, a bronze alloy, a white gold allow, and Magsonic. One thing of interest is that this watch may be the first Grande Sonnerie watch that is water resistant. See if any of your beloved Patek Philippe minute repeaters can boast that!
Not that any of this wasn't enough to go out and plan how a series of murders will somehow land you the car, but Bugatti threw something inside for the watch lovers. I know the car isn't "beautiful" by Ferrari standards, but it still satisfies every cargasm and luxogasm need any of us may ever have.
Don't be afraid to like this watch. I do. I think it looks pretty hot actually. Is that something I typically say about a watch? No, but this isn't a typical looking watch. Are you MAN ENOUGH to wear a white watch? Sure you are. Now granted, a watch like this is not for everyone, or every outfit. Frankly some of you may look outright silly wearing this watch. For other, this is a fantastic addition to your collection. From TX, this is the newest version of their 800 Series Linear Chronograph watch model. This model T3C456TX is in all white, with a steel case and rose gold toned trim. More on that later.
Mondaine has a truly dizzying array of watches. So many to choose from. Good news is that they have a relatively useful watch finder on their website that you can check out here. I really dig the Sports II collection of watches. Just great looking timepieces, and they have textured dials with tritium gas tubes in the hands. They also have some automatic versions of their watches, and the ladies' timepieces are pretty nice as well. You can tell that the last two images are of women's watches.
I don't feel as though the hands and dials on the face do the intricate look of the movement surface justice. The fine "brain patterning" doesn't seem to mesh well with thin green hands. I just think the hands could have been done better. They feel like an after thought. On the dial you will find a few functions. A watch face, a retrograde seconds indicator at about 4 o'clock, a power reserve indicator at about 8 o'clock, and a indicator for how fast the watch is running (fast, normal, slow). Another odd thing about the dials are how the numerals are printed. They are mirrored. Like the two hemispheres of the brain? Maybe. Who knows. This concept is interesting in theory, but I personally wouldn't have left it in the design. But then again, I have to keep reminding myself that this is art dammit! Not just a watch. So who am I to criticize?
eBay is my default place to go for just about anything - especially watches. While eBay isn't liked going to have the particular watches from the above special retailers, it is going to have over 300,000 watches with great deals available for whatever, or whoever you are looking for. Use their search tools to find out exactly what you need, and get it in minutes. Need suggestions? Use the tools there and try searching for women's watch under 0 from sellers located in North America (I most always use this last option for quick shipping situations). How about vintage gold watches under ,000? You can search for more than one item at a time, but using a "search in the alternative" query like this for example, "watch (swatch, tissot, omega)." That will have eBay look for either items with "swatch, tissot, or omega" and the term "watch" in it. eBay can easily supplement your holiday watch purchase needs, or be your one stop shop - especially if you know what you want.
The construction of the unit involves a shiny black case sitting on four legs. A mirror on top of which a raised circuit board is mounted, and the rest you can easily visually deduce. The Futura is very artistic in my mind. I wouldn't actually call it futuristic at all, but I suppose it is in comparison to some of the classic looking wood winder units. Instead it is a more "tech friendly" device, proud of its electronics. Thematically similar to a skeletonized watch, only here you have electronics and lights, as opposed to gears and springs. There are actually four blue LED lights on the board that are more or less decorative. they actually have various settings and can blink and different speeds. The point of the lights it to make the unit look more "spacey," and in that it succeeds. You'll feel like you are in a space ship with the Futura winder being on in a dark room. You can easily turn the lights off too. I had to do this as I keep my watches in my bedroom and the bright blue blinking lights made me feel like there was a police car in the room. Turning the lights off involved removing the power to the unit and restarting it to put it in settings mode. Not a big deal, but it did involve resetting the time. Still, I was very pleased that Orbita realized that it would be a feature people would want to have some control over - something I wishes the makers of my computer thought of as it seems to twirp and blink with various lights more often than R2-D2.

Thoughts On The Confrerie Horlogere La Clef du Temps Tourbillon Watch
A major area of interest for me in any diving watch is the bezel. Not only am I a huge fan of rotating diver bezels, but I often use them to evaluate the overall quality of a watch. DWATCH gives its timepieces one of the nicest looking diver bezels I've had the pleasure of having - especially at a watch at this price. The side of the bezel has a similar grated texture that makes it easy to grip. Turning the bezel is on the harder side, but that is better than it being too easy to turn. You get 120 solid feeling clicks before you've made a full rotation. The bezel piece is all steel with no numeral insert (as many dive watches will use an aluminum insert for the numbers). DWATCH takes a more expensive approach and physically cuts out the minute markers in relief on the bezel surface. You can then get different finishes for the bezel (all steel tone, all PVD black, or PVD black on the inside like I chose). Not only does this look nice, but it communicates a lot about the durability and professional nature of the timepiece. At the 12 o'clock point of the bezel, there is a large applied lume dot.
Unlike most skeletonized watches the dial is really easy to read. Panerai made sure that all the necessary markers are there and with bright lume applied to them. As such, there is no real part of the skeletonization that makes it difficult to read. You can tell from the images of the watch that I am wearing that it is a good looking timepiece with lots of utility. Note that is a pre-production model that I handled a lot so there are lots of finger smudges on the front and rear of the watch.
Kobe looks stunning in this watch, and so will most people who are comfy with the avant garde looks. It is the most different looking watch you'll end up being chummy with right away when you wear it. It succeeds on so many levels, and the newer Nubeo brand is only going to get better - always looking to innovate and continue refining the core strengths that founder Ivan Castro brings as a corporate asset. Therefore it is a great brand to watch, and the Black Mamba is a serious player in the game of luxury sports watches or otherwise. See more about the Black Mamba watch at Nubeo here.
The Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso is one of the most classic watches out there still being made today. Easily up there in some top 10 list, if one was ever to be established (note to self - work on top 10 classic watches list). Since its creation way back when (maybe the 1930s) it has been an iconic watch for Jaeger-LeCoultre. One of the most simple and classic, but still interesting Reverso models being sold today is the Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Duo. The original Reverso watches did not have dual faces. One side was metal to protect the watch during polo matches. When Jaeger-LeCoultre really revived the Reverso watch, they decided to put the other side of the watch to good use, and give the timepiece two faces.
It can take a little while to get used to 12 hour hand watches. You'll notice that they follow a precise indicator path making it not so hard to read the time. Some people even think it is easier than a two hand approach. Each indicator is placed 10 minutes apart. This isn't an ideal watch if you need too the minute precision (but in Spain who does?). However, it s a great style for when you want something more casual with a lot of hand-made character and a clean, classic looking dial. Because there aren't many Spanish watch makers that I am familiar with, it is hard to recognize a "Spanish" style. The look reminds me of a mixture of Italian and Bauhaus design watches. The crownless look and solid lugs give the watch a very simple and inviting look. You can get dials that go from "instrument like" to quite minimalist. Pita is really nice about working with individual clients to achieve what is best for them. These are of course "luxury" watches, and such close attention from the makers is expected. Price isn't cheap, but it is much less than what you would expect from dealing directly with most Swiss or even German independent watch makers. The Pita Carousel prices ranges of course, but is in the ,000 range for the pictured version. Of course platinum will cost you more (though I really like the watch in gold).
In addition to having a thinner profile, the watch has more metal on it that the PAW-1500. The bezel has some polished and textured metal, which makes for a nice look. We aren't talking about thick high-grade steel, but it does make for a better look. There are actually going to be two versions of this new Pathfinder PAW-2000 watch, there will be the PAW-2000-1, and the PAW-2000-7. They will have a resin strap or titanium bracelet respectively. My PAW-1500 has the titanium bracelet which is great, but each will work nicely.
